What documents do you need?
Idaho does not require any documents to homeschool under this pathway. You can start whenever you're ready.
If withdrawing from school

Not legally required but strongly recommended if child is currently enrolled in public school. State the child will be 'otherwise comparably instructed' per Idaho Code 33-202. Prevents truancy referrals and ensures school records are properly updated. Some districts may have their own withdrawal forms.
